To produce an assessment we collect the location you select, the details you give about your roof, and your average monthly electricity bill. To send you a report we additionally collect your name, email address and mobile number.

We also collect basic analytics about how the site is used. This does not include your name, phone number or email address.

The roof and location details are used to calculate your assessment. Your contact details are used to send you the report you asked for. Where your enquiry indicates an interest in solar installation, we may share relevant information with suitable solar installers serving your area so that they can contact you with a quotation, as described in the consent notice you accept when you request your report.

We use third-party services to run the product: a hosting provider, a database provider, an email delivery service, and public mapping and solar-irradiance services. We do not sell your personal information as a standalone database or personal-data product. Where your enquiry is referred to a solar installer, we share the information reasonably necessary for the installer to evaluate and respond to it.

Generated report files are retained for 90 days, after which they are deleted and can be regenerated on request. Assessment and contact records are retained while they remain useful for the purpose above, and are deleted on request.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to Contact@ugaconsult.com and we will act within a reasonable period.
